This week on Instagram, I co-hosted a fun challenge called Cozy Chic Week with Megan from Moos Outfits to celebrate our current work from home style.

I’m so happy I decided to do this challenge with Megan. I have been in a major slump this month for a few reasons. May was supposed to be big month for us with Aaron’s graduation, visiting friends, and lots of celebrating. We were also going to start planning a trip to Charleston and Savannah as a reward for enduring grad school for the last three years (if you know, you know.)

Well, like the rest of you, all of that is on hold indefinitely. On top of that, I got horrible stye that has made me feel so disembodied and, frankly, gross.

I thought I’d dread taking these photos (and getting dressed!) during this time of disappointment and frustration. But honestly, putting together my cozy-yet-chic outfits for this challenge has been the highlight of my week!

I’m chatting about the outfits below as well as linking each piece (or similar ones). Each outfit is linked above the photo, and I consolidated everything into one list at the bottom! Thankfully my glasses fit each look considering the fact my eyelid is the size of a balloon!

P.S. Though this isn’t technically a “Capsule,” I’m encapsulating it because of the similar styles and colors. And because I could make a lot of combinations out of these pieces if I tried! (And maybe I will!)

Outfit #1

This one seems to be the favorite, featuring a monochromatic neutral look that is not my typical style! It’s no secret that monochrome makes you look and feel put together, and I really needed that this week. But I didn’t expect to love this outfit as much as I did, and I’ll definitely be replicating it in the future! You can find a review of my Nisolo Lima Slip Ons HERE!

Outfit #2

This was more of a quirky look, inspired mostly by me wearing my glasses so much lately. When New Girl came out, people always said I looked like Jessica Day, and then I really solidified that by becoming a middle school teacher. Since leaving teaching, my style has changed a lot, but I definitely still love to incorporate lots of quirkiness whenever I can!

Outfit #3

My Christy Dawn Jumper might be my favorite item in my closet. And paired with that homemade jacket, the cozy factor goes through the roof! I get tons of questions about it and finally found a great similar piece by Eileen Fisher, linked HERE. Also, you can read my Christy Dawn Jumper and Eileen Fisher blog posts for more information about these two amazing sustainable brands!

Outfit #4

Speaking of Eileen Fisher, I went monochrome again with their matching set in Cinnamon and my beloved Tradlands sweater in Sienna. I don’t care what you call this color – It is STUNNING! Pretty sure it’s my favorite color. I love how my color palette for the whole week went together so well. Even though I didn’t plan it that way, it really worked. This combo is more cozy than chic, but it was a Thursday so it’s fine!

Outfit #5

Other than day one, this is my favorite outfit, which tells me I should be wearing more cream and only cream. While I like to think of myself as the color queen, I actually really enjoyed the blank slate of these looks and definitely will be pushing myself to try more monochrome combinations! I featured these shoes in my Nisolo favorites blog post if you want to hear me rave about them!

So, now tell me: Which is your favorite of these work from home outfits?! I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
