Goodbye 2020, hello NEW YEAR! I’m so excited and relieved to have a fresh start. It feels really good to be a bit more settled in our new home and start to build our daily routines. I have some big goals for this year, and it’s always so motivating to start a new season on the right foot. 

One of my goals is finishing decorating our home! As you might know from Instagram, we recently moved back to our home state of California. It always takes me so long to decorate when we move, but secretly I love the whole process of figuring everything out. My current favorite part of our house is my little tea station, which I share all the time in my Instagram stories. Starting and ending every day with a cup of tea just makes me so happy!

But I’m also enjoying making this a multi-purpose space featuring some recent sustainable products, thanks to Grove Collaborative! They have tons of plant-based, sustainable products free from harsh chemicals, and I’ve been loving testing them out.

Grove is 100% plastic and carbon neutral, and they’ll be plastic-free by 2025! It feels good to know that I can trust any of the many products in their marketplace. I’ve been trying to cut back on single use plastic and wanted to feature a few products in a space I see often to remind myself to make the sustainable swap! A few items I’ve been trying out are their produce bags, reusable snack bags, silicone straws, and flour sack towels. I love how well-made everything is and was super impressed when I got my first box from Grove. It doesn’t hurt that it was delivered straight to my door!

2020 was certainly the year for nesting, but I don’t feel that urge going away any time soon! I am getting more into decorating and cleaning by the day and am excited to try out some other kitchen and laundry products from Grove, like their laundry detergent and wool dryer balls. I use their laundry detergent auto-dosing dispenser and their ultra-concentrated liquid refills. It’s amazing because you don’t have to measure anything at all. The dispenser will pour the exact amount you need and nothing more! We went with the citrus and wood scent, which I LOVE. And the wool dryer balls have been keeping my clothes so soft. If my clothes are still wrinkled, I use their wrinkle release spray to keep them smooth and fresh!

I’ve noticed myself getting more and more sensitive to any chemicals when cleaning and am definitely looking to fully make the switch to plant-based products. So far, I’ve been really pleased with the ones I’ve tried from Grove. Plus, everything smells SO good!

Some other products I’ve been loving are their Beauty by Earth detangling brush, which I use after I condition my hair, their hemp muscle relief roll on, which we use on our necks when they feel stiff, and their Sleep relaxation blend, which I diffuse every single night before bed! It’s become so easy to place an order that I’ve tried out some other fun products I wouldn’t have thought of like Grove’s grout and tile brush for cleaning my counters and their tea light and essential oil burner.
